The Lost Fingers [photo by David Carrol, taken from Wikipedia]

A reader saw my post about Les Doigts de l’Homme and pointed out this Quebecois (Canadian) band called “The Lost Fingers“. Their debut album was composed of gypsy jazz style covers of 80’s hits; very unique stuff.

Here’s their only music video out that I know of: (and sadly not an 80’s cover)

and here’s an interview with them — they seem nice:

Of course, can’t forget some random live videos:

and Part-Time Lover one more time, ’cause the video in this one is gorgeous HD goodness:

Their newest studio album is titled “Rendez-vous rose“. I don’t know if they’re cover songs too as I don’t speak French, but it sounds pretty nice! You can find their discography on iTunes below:

Unfortunately it appears that “Rendez-vous rose“, the French album, is only available in the Canadian iTunes Music store. Sorry, non-Canadians. :/

Every week I am going to tell you about a lesser known music artist or band that I think sounds pretty awesome. Essentially, I want to share with you my love for music.
